• Participation at the Leticia Maronese´s Women and streets-urban nomenclature book presentation, organized by the Culture Secretary of Buenos Aires City Government. November.
• Promotion or the theatre presentation about sexual violence, organized by CECYM with the support of "Pagina 12" (newspaper) and the Argentine Actors Association. November.
• Participation at the "Violence, prevention and afterwards..." Seminar organized by the Red Intersocietaria para el Estudio y la Prevención de la Violencia at the Woman´s Area of the Buenos Aires City Government. November.
• Participation at the book presentation of "Women at education. Gender and teaching in Argentina 1870-1930" compiled by Graciela Morgade, with works of Mabel Belucci, Graciela Crespi, Dora Barrancos, Rubén Cucuzza and Silvia Yannoulas. November.
• Participation at the book presentation of "Sexual division of work. Permanence and change" written by Helena Hiirata and Daniele Kergoat, Organized by CEA ( Buenos Aires University) , CEIL (PIETTE), CONICET, Women´s Rights Permanent Forum and Woman´s. Buenos Aires , November.
• Participation at the 16th Feminist Anual Meeting on Feminism, democracy and patriarchy" organized by the Asociación de Trabajo y Estudio de la Mujer. November 1997.
• Participation at the presentation of "Citizen Action Tools for Women´s Rights Defense Manual" edited by the Participation and Citizen Control Program of Poder Ciudadano Foundation. November.
• "For the right to live without violence" Campaign, with the support of the Latin-American Women's Health Network on the framework of the "16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence", globally coordinated by the Center for Women Global Leadership. November/December. Press dossiers and information materials sent to journalists and legislators claiming for the legal reform of the Criminal Code in the Chapter on "sexual crimes" (bad-named "crimes against honesty") and of the Familiar Violence Law to do it more efficient. Campaign in the mass media.
• Contacts for exchanging information on developing programs and fundraising possibilities for our projects. - Meetings in Washington and delivery of ISPM dossiers and projects to the Interamerican Dialogue Foundation (U.S.), Interamerican Human Rights Institute (Costa Rica), National Democratic Institute (U.S.), International Center for Research on Women (ICRW-U.S.), The Center for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA-U.S.), The Asia Foundation (U.S.), Catholics for a free choice (U.S.) and the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO). Since October 30 to November 6. - Follow-up to the progress of the women entrepreneurs and politicians Seminar project with the National Women´s Political Caucus (U.S.) to be held in Buenos Aires on April / May 1998. • Participation at the Experts Meeting of the Interamerican Human Rights Commission (Organization of American States, O.A.S.) on Women´s Rights project, organized by the Women´s Rights Special Reporteur. Washington, November 6 and 7 (María José Lubertino, expositor).
• Participation in the "Transforming the legal condition of women: overpassing the barries in the Jurisprudence and Legal Education" Workshop and Conference, organized by the American University - School of Law. Washington, October/November (María José Lubertino/expositor). Meeting of feminist, law professors and lawyers, with a gander perspective, for gathering literature and jurisprudence and begin a sistematic review of the studies programs and materials in the Schools of Lae of all the Continent.
• Participation in the USA First Lady (Hillary Rodham Clinton) Conference and lobby action on reproductive rights in the framework of her visit to Argentina. October 16.
• Participation in the "Women Ballot 50º Anniversary" Dinner, organized by the Unión de Mujeres Argentinas. October 3.
• Publication of a Monthly poster/newspaper named "Con ojos de mujer" which is made with a grant from The Global Fund for Women. Since October. Each issue is dedicated to spread abroad the topics of Beijing's Conference Action Plan, what is Argentine women situation on the subject, other women NGOs activities and every interesting and useful information for women.
• Participation in the "Our bodies, our lives: proposals for the sexual and reproductive rights promotion" Seminar, organized by the Foro por los Derechos Reproductivos. September 25 - 26.
• Fundraising strategical plan designed for the Instituto Social y Político de la Mujer and data collecting on enterprises in Argentina for this purpose. September/December.
• TV Cable micro-program "Con ojos de Mujer". With the support of Mama Cash (Netherlands). Since September. To spread abroad women's rights and every information to encourage Argentine women's life Twice a week, 7 minutes each, by CVN in "Noche a noche", a renown daily news report program.
• Participation in "Ethics, Health and Abortion" Conference, organized by Catholics for a free choice. September.
• Participation in "Woman at the Buenos Aires City Constitution" Roundtable, organized by the Buenos Aires Women´s Christian Association. September (María José Lubertino, panelist).
• Membership of the Argentinean Committee for the Solidarity between Women Meeting, which organize the "Solidarity between Women Meeting for Equality, Development and Peace" which will take place in April 1998 at La Habana, Cuba- since its constitution in September.
• Participation in the "Women´s Rights on Health Permanent Tribunal", coordinated by the Foro Permanente por los Derechos de las Mujeres, with the support of UNICEF / Argentina, UNFPA and UNIFEM. September 8.
• Co-organization of the "NGOs National Meeting", as members of the ESIPP (Equipo de Seguimiento, Investigaciòn y Propuesta de Políticas)- Argentinean follow-up group of Beijing Platform-, with the support of UNIFEM, UNICEF and UNFPA. September 5 (opening and close in charge of Susana Stilman).
• Participation in the "Women in Politics Data Base" Program, coordinated by Fundación Mujeres en igualdad with the support of the National Democratic Institute, since September .
• "Employment Clubs" Project design by the "Young women group" of the Instituto Social y Político de la Mujer, submitted to the Interamerican Development Bank in the framework of a call for youth and employment projects. August/September.
• Participation in the "Being woman, young and citizen in the 90´s: claims to and answers from the State and the Society" Seminar/Workshop, organized by the Centro de Estudios de la Mujer with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. August 21 and 22.
• Participation in the "Justice Public Audience" claiming for a Judicial Council Law to be passed in the Senate, organized by the Press Workers Union (UTPBA) and other social and civil NGOs. August 20.
• Public Presentation in Argentina of the ¨1998 Global Campaign for the Women´s Human Rights¨, coordinated in the hole world by the Center for Women´s Global Leadership (USA). August.
• Network with the USA National Women´s Political Caucus and design of a visit program for different Funds members of that country (Emily´s List, among others) to Argentina in March 1998 and Seminars in our country with women entrepreneurs and women politicians. July/November.
• ¨Citizen Education Massive Campaign for the prevention of violence against women¨ Project design and presentation asking economical support from UNIFEM. Support for actions to eliminate violence against women Fund. July/August.
